The Food Export Council (FEC) offers specialized consultation services to support Egyptian processed food companies in strengthening their export capabilities and expanding into international markets. Consultations are provided through one-to-one meetings, tailored to the specific needs of each company or sector. FEC consultations may include:
- Guidance for companies seeking to enter new export markets, including identifying promising opportunities and market potential.
- Market intelligence support, including export data, trade statistics, and analysis of global demand and competitors.
- Advisory on export procedures and requirements, including documentation and regulatory considerations.
- Information on international standards, certifications, and food safety requirements needed for accessing global markets.
- Linkages with relevant stakeholders, programs, and supporting entities to facilitate export development.
- Dispute resolution support, assisting Egyptian exporters and foreign importers in resolving export-related trade disputes.
- Export Readiness Test (ERT) to assess companies’ readiness to enter international markets and identify areas for improvement.
Through these consultation services, FEC aims to provide exporters with practical guidance and reliable market insights, enabling them to make informed decisions and enhance their global competitiveness.
Disputes Resolving
The Food Export Council (FEC) supports Egyptian exporters and foreign importers in resolving export-related trade disputes. Companies may submit complaints via the official FEC email, along with relevant documents and a brief description of the issue. The Council reviews each case, coordinates with the concerned parties to seek an amicable solution, and, when necessary, refers unresolved or non-cooperative cases to the Export Violations Committee at the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
