About FEC
Who We Are
The Food Export Council (FEC) was established in 1997 by Ministerial Decree as a semi-governmental, non-profit organization operating under the umbrella of the Ministry of Trade and Industry. It serves as the official think tank for the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, with its Board of Directors reporting directly to the Minister. FEC acts as the official advisory body for the Egyptian food export sector and plays a pivotal role in shaping strategies, advocating policies, and lobbying on behalf of the sector.
